The biggest problem with having a budget is trying to stop yourself from making impulse purchases!

I made a £10 purchase today which was for something totally unnecessary. All I can say is that I really, really wanted one of these when Beth was a baby and I couldn't afford it.

Today when I was in the hospice shop looking for any items that were on my 'To Buy' list, I saw it. It was in the box at the side of the shop with the instruction leaflet, but it was £10.

I think I have totally blown my chances of keeping inside my budget now, but at least Amelia will have a bumbo to sit in!
